About the Role:
Telimed DEMO Ltd. is seeking a passionate Information Security Officer to guide the organisation’s information security and compliance programmes. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain an ISO 27001-compliant Information Security Management System (ISMS) while ensuring alignment with the Jamaican Data Protection Act (JDPA).
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day information security operations and policies.

Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and vulnerability reviews.

Develop and deliver staff awareness training on data protection and security.

Collaborate with IT, HR, and Legal teams to ensure ongoing compliance.

Prepare management reports and assist with external audits.

Monitor data breaches and assist in the development of incident response plans.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or CISM certification preferred.

At least 4 years of experience in information security or compliance.

Good understanding of JDPA, GDPR, and ISO 27701 standards.

Salary Range: JMD $5,800,000 – $7,800,000 per year
